Senior Office Specialist, Terrye J. Miles

Terrye began working for the Jefferson County Precinct One Constable’s Office in July of 2007.

Prior to joining the Constable’s Office, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Lamar University and received her Paralegal Certification from Lamar’s two-year paralegal studies course. After taking the certifying exam, she became a Certified Legal Assistant.

Terrye has over 18 years of legal experience working as a legal assistant for attorneys in private practice.

Terrye is excited and proud to be working with her new co-workers at Precinct One Constable’s Office.

Terrye has the privilege of working with her son Trey, who is also employed here, and her husband, Thurman, who is an unpaid regular reserve who occasionally works as a part time deputy and training officer when the need arises.

In her spare time, Terrye likes babysitting her two grandchildren and flower gardening.
